The Guarantee Fund offers new digital service for issuing certifications for the validity of the compulsory MTPL insurance

With the new digital service available through the website of the Guarantee Fund, citizens can remotely generate certifications for the validity of the compulsory MTPL insurance. The certificates can be printed or stored electronically  to be used for presentation to interested parties. They are issued remotely by the Information Centre of the Guarantee Fund and their authenticity is certified by a Qualified Electronic Seal Certificate (QESC) and a "Quick Response Code" (QR code).

The service is available in the "Verification of valid third party liability insurance" section of the GF website - www.guaranteefund.bg . After checking for validity according to user-specified criteria and displaying the information for the specific vehicle on the screen, users can generate the certificate using the "Download electronically signed document in PDF format" field. This provides quick and easy access to the service and does not require registration or user authentication.

In relation to the new convenience for citizens Maxim Kolev, Chairman and CEO, emphasized: "The service significantly facilitates the process of obtaining information from the Information Center of the GF, eliminating the need to submit written applications and waiting for the receipt of paper documents. This is another step in our strategy to digitise and streamline operations, providing value to users."
