Record number of children took part in the drawing competition "No mistakes on the road"

The competition for thematic children's drawing "No mistakes on the road", organized by the Guarantee Fund, Association of Bulgaria Insurers and DG "National Police"- Ministry of Interior, ended with remarkable results. Nearly 10,000 drawings were from 304 locations in Bulgaria entered the competition. All of the drawings are presented in an online gallery, unique both for Bulgaria and Europe.

As a sign of appreciation to the Bulgarian teachers for their commitment and efforts, the organizers of the initiative increased its award fund. In addition to 10 awards for the best-performing participants - vouchers worth BGN 100 each - another 10 awards for active participation are awarded to schools and kindergartens - vouchers worth BGN 200 each.

"I am deeply impressed by the massive participation, children’s talent, diligence and last but not least their good knowledge of road safety rules. For me they are all winners. Along with that, I am truly grateful to the Bulgarian teachers who work with heart and commitment with their pupils and achieve impressive results", said Mr. Maxim Kolev, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Guarantee Fund on the occasion of the results of the children's drawing competition "No mistakes on the road".

With the children's drawing competition, the organizers build on and further develop the popular initiative based on the educational test "No mistakes on the road", and Bulgaria joins the 4th edition of the European initiative "Together for the safety of children on the road", which brings together state authorities and road safety organisations, insurance associations and educational institutions from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
