The Guarantee Fund provides the injured persons, as well as all persons involved in a traffic accident caused by a motor vehicle that has a Motor Third Party Liability Insurance (MTPL), the following information:
- Name, headquarters address and address of management of the insurer;
- Number of the insurance contract;
- Name, headquarters address and address of management of claims representatives in the member state that the persons who suffered damages reside in;
The Guarantee Fund provides the injured persons with legal interest information on the identity and address of the owner, habitual driver or registered keeper of the motor vehicle that caused the road accident.
The Guarantee Fund provides to injured persons with legal interest the following information related to their rights to compensation under Accident insurance for the public transportation passengers: name, headquarters address and address of management of insurers, the number of insurance contract; name, headquarters address and address of management for the transport service provider.
The Guarantee Fund assists in providing information on insurance contracts concluded outside the country.
